Cache Valley Kids Market started with one young entrepreneur’s idea to sell homemade items. In 2021, this child presented his vision to the Hyrum City Council, proposing a space where kids could showcase their creations. As a result, the council approved the creation of a small summer pop-up event in Hyrum, Utah.
Since that initial launch, the market has expanded significantly. By 2023, over 20 young vendors participated each weekend, gaining hands-on entrepreneurial experience. This dynamic platform enabled children to develop valuable skills such as marketing, customer service, and product development. In 2024, the market rebranded as Cache Valley Kids Market, marking another significant milestone.

Furthermore, the market expanded its reach by launching a second summer location, extending its presence across the Cache Valley area. As its impact grew, so did its mission. In 2024, Cache Valley Kids Market achieved non-profit status, which opened doors for new partnerships with local businesses and other non-profits.
These partnerships have enriched the market experience and provided young vendors with more opportunities. They also made it possible to offer additional year-round events and programming. Beyond the summer markets, Cache Valley Kids Market remains committed to fostering the entrepreneurial spirit.

Throughout the year, we provide free workshops to help kids build essential business skills. Topics such as product development, marketing, financial literacy, and customer service equip young entrepreneurs with the knowledge they need for success. These workshops prepare children for future challenges in both the marketplace and in life.
As the market continues to grow, we remain committed to supporting young entrepreneurs. Our goal is to provide opportunities for kids to learn, grow, and succeed, ensuring they are well-prepared for the future.
