Each board member contributes valuable expertise and shares a common vision of empowering young entrepreneurs in our community. Together, the executive board plays an essential role in guiding the organization’s strategy, overseeing operations, and building meaningful partnerships that benefit both the youth and the broader community. Through their collective leadership, the executive board ensures that we continue to make a positive impact and create new opportunities for young entrepreneurs.
Executive President
With a passion for making a difference, Amanda Butler has dedicated herself to the non-profit sector, harnessing her skills in grant writing and organizational leadership. She founded her first non-profit at the age of 20, setting the stage for a life focused on building the community. She has worked for and learned from both New Day Products in Pocatello, Idaho and Lewis and Clark Preschool in Moscow, Idaho. Currently, she serves as the President of the Board of the Cache Valley Kids Market, dedicating the past three years to its growth and success. In addition to her professional endeavors, she has taken on leadership roles in the community, volunteering as PTA president and orchestrating numerous successful fundraisers and events.

I have enjoyed watching my own children take part in the Market for the last three years selling our family salsa and I am excited to become even more involved. Cache Valley has been my home for 10 years now and I am proud to be able to help in the community and hopefully give back even a part of what it’s given me. I’ve spent my entire life helping and teaching children and I’m excited to continue that here. I have a degree in social work and spent many years working with and helping children that had been abused and neglected. Currently, I work for the Cache County School District teaching children to read and fostering a love for learning within them. I also spend time teaching piano lessons, in the hope of instilling a lifelong appreciation for music in my students. Outside of my work life, I am a mother to five crazy but wonderful children who keep me on my toes. As a military wife and mother, I’ve spent the better part of two and a half decades volunteering and supporting other military families while my husband, and now my son, have served diligently to protect the freedoms of our country. In my journey through life, I’ve worn many hats, each one shaping me into the person I am today. Each chapter of my life has taught me resilience, compassion, and the importance of service, making me the person I am today.
Executive Secretary
I am a stay-at-home mother of four children, ranging in age from 15 to 3 years old. My two oldest have participated in the market for the past three years, and one of my daughters will be joining them soon. It has been a rewarding experience to witness their growth and development through these opportunities. My family has called Cache Valley home since 2011, when we relocated here for my husband’s career. We have embraced the community and value the life we’ve built here. Over the years, I have gained valuable organizational experience through my service as secretary for several church callings. I am also proficient in programs such as Excel and take pride in my attention to detail. I am passionate about contributing to my community, and I look forward to supporting the ongoing success of the market and its young entrepreneurs.
